Mucky Pup - Alive & Well (1993)
LINER NOTES
"We made these recordings during our '93 tours of Europe. This CD was our answer to the bad bootlegs that have been circulating. We included all the fun cool things that we like about our shows. There are also some studio cover songs we never released before. "Darling Nikki" - by Prince and "Nothing Can Come Between Us" - by Sade. Just remember it's not meant to be an audiophile recording - it's a band playing, drinking and having fun in the clubs of Europe."

Mucky Pup - Lemonade (1991)
LINER NOTES
"This record took a turn away from the funny pop of the past to the more aggressive, emotional, and angry. I Think it's because I/we went thru some bad stuff. Like Luke, we fell to the dark side. No videos just tour, tour, tour. Played Prague, but still never made it to the west coast (of America). Go figure."

Mucky Pup - Act of Faith (1990)
LINER NOTES
"This was our first of two records for Century Media Records. They (CMR) had just signed The Cro-Mags and at the time it seemed like a good idea. We made videos for "mr. hand" and "freakin'" neither of which ever aired in the U.S.
You might notice the back of the CD box has the same art as the LP. Hence "SIDE A" numbered 1-6 and "SIDE B" 1-6. The odd thing is - there aren't two sides to a CD.
We also did a whole bunch of great tours with Carter the Unstoppable Sex Machine . Their audience always does this chant of "You Fat Bastard" so when they come and see us opening the show they were just Too, Too happy. All was pretty cool till the Brixton Academy. The show was sold out long before we were invited to play so the crowd was not so enthused to see us. Let's just say we were glad that the beer was served in plastic cups and not bottles. The stage was basically a "slip and slide" of beer. And the chant of "You Fat Bastard" was louder than the P.A. So in retaliation I took my clothes off. Junior got a pretty serious 220 volt shock from the bass amp not being grounded properly. After he came back from the hospital we all had a good laugh. Most of the other shows went much better. really they did.... really I swear."

Mucky Pup - NOW (1989)
LINER NOTES
"By this time we were touring our collective asses off and lovin'it. We did shows with Primus, The Red Hot Chili Peppers, Murphy's Law, Bad Brains, 24-7, Scatterbrain, etc. The video for "hippies..." was by far our best video but was never aired. The cover photo shoot was done with a 10ft x 10ft piece of 1 inch plate glass. We all know Plexiglass would scratch) This sheet of glass was over 500 pounds and a pain in the ass to move, so after the shoot we smashed it with the back of a hammer and it collapsed into an easily sweepable pile of nuggets. $1200 of plate glass nuggets. This was our last record for Torrid and Roadrunner Records. We also found a manager. finally."

Mucky Pup - A Boy in a Mans World (1988)
LINER NOTES
"We won a Bloom County Comic Song Writing contest with the song U-Stink-But-I-Love-U. (view comic strip) A 7-inch of that song appeared in the million selling book "billy and the boingers bootleg". YAHOO! It was after this record that we started touring, touring in Europe to be specific. We actually still play a lot of the songs from this record. Nelson Decastro, who did the cover art, now works at Marvel Comics. The video for U-Stink... featured lots of girls from Staten Island and lots of dead fish. It was shown on MTV's Headbangers Ball by Adam Curry exactly twice. Truth."

Mucky Pup - Can't You Take a Joke? (1987)
LINER NOTES
"In 1986 while playing a show at the Paramus Roller Rink (with rock gods Trixter) I think it was a Battle-O-The-Bands, well anyway, someone from Torrid Records saw us. Some weeks later we signed a deal. Basically we did this record as we were graduating high school. When looking back at this CD I can only say one thing - everyone's gotta start somewhere."
